is tough but has it's perks. had a great time with my group. jump and gels. school is busy with weeklies, people, etc. oh and other classes that aren't Bill's. hair cut and new shoes. ill put up weeklies later. this weeks word is blue...or blew. whatever i make of it i guess.

..and it's still not over. Waiting to print at the moment so i figured I'd put up my first film scan. It's a black and white negative from the creative portrait assignment. It's of Sam light painting a star. She practiced over, and over, and over to get it right. I still dig film over digital. Portfolio on Friday. Can't wait!

it's been a little intense but i'm handling it pretty well. i have my friends keepin me going. supposedly the summer is a ton tougher. but i believe i can do it. here's a pic from the design lab II "yearbook". haha it's been an awesome semester. love you guys

...didn't go as planned sadly. When shooting film the flash wasn't aimed quite right and the shutter was too fast. Here's a digital of what i was originally going to do. The one i turned in was ok at best. BUT I'm going to have a re-shoot because i love the pose and Cali and Mary Beth were the perfect models for that shot. Thanks ladies!
Oh and just for the heck of it, I've been dying to get my hair cut, if you have an ideas as what a style post a link in a comment please. hah.

I found a little time to post this morning before eating b-day lunch with my grandpa. I didn't get to have my shoot yesterday. But instead spent time with Sam. We just drove taking random turns and photos. It was really nice and I even got her to pose for me. :) So here are 3 shots, 2 of us and one of an old auto shop on the outskirts of Greensboro.(i think)

...finally figure out my last pic for triad assignment. i dig it. Won't post for a bit bc of all that's going on at school. New assignment for large format seems pretty sweet. Dealing with campbells soup cans and the scheimpflug effect. I'm stoked for Ashleys mock assignment. Thanks to murbah and mom for modeling. Ill put the digital shots of it up next week some time.

Verteks team and coffee exchange work

These shots were for me to get a little low light experience and to advertise for the coffee shop. I was working without a flash and with rather high ISO. Please give me some tips. I finished them yesterday but didn't have time to post b/c I went to the ADTR and Silverstein show. It was quite amazing. First time I got to see one of my favorite bands so i was stoked to go. They're really chill guys. Um today I'm doing stuff around the house but after I'm chillin' with the Mrs. and then getting the guys together to play an acoustic set on rooftop. :)

Hey guys. This is just a set of photos taken over the week. For the paint brush and cans i was in downtown Asheboro on rooftops. It was like a little rustic secret garden. The pressure gauge and plant were in Franklinville and the outline of a person on the road was a natural occurrence that made me late for class but was definitely worth it.
