with flash or without flash...that is the question

hahaha thought you guys would get a kick out of this. sry haven't really had time to post..i have been shooting mostly film...it's my niche i suppose. i'll scan and upload as soon as i get time.

bill's class....

is tough but has it's perks. had a great time with my group. jump and gels. school is busy with weeklies, people, etc. oh and other classes that aren't Bill's. hair cut and new shoes. ill put up weeklies later. this weeks word is blue...or blew. whatever i make of it i guess.

its been a long week...

..and it's still not over. Waiting to print at the moment so i figured I'd put up my first film scan. It's a black and white negative from the creative portrait assignment. It's of Sam light painting a star. She practiced over, and over, and over to get it right. I still dig film over digital. Portfolio on Friday. Can't wait!

semester coming to a close.

it's been a little intense but i'm handling it pretty well. i have my friends keepin me going. supposedly the summer is a ton tougher. but i believe i can do it. here's a pic from the design lab II "yearbook". haha it's been an awesome semester. love you guys

recreate....

       ...didn't go as planned sadly. When shooting film the flash wasn't aimed quite right and the shutter was too fast. Here's a digital of what i was originally going to do. The one i turned in was ok at best. BUT I'm going to have a re-shoot because i love the pose and Cali and Mary Beth were the perfect models for that shot. Thanks ladies!
       Oh and just for the heck of it, I've been dying to get my hair cut, if you have an ideas as what a style post a link in a comment please. hah.

time spent with sam.

I found a little time to post this morning before eating b-day lunch with my grandpa. I didn't get to have my shoot yesterday. But instead spent time with Sam. We just drove taking random turns and photos. It was really nice and I even got her to pose for me. :) So here are 3 shots, 2 of us and one of an old auto shop on the outskirts of Greensboro.(i think)
